Shop update #403 (7-30-25) new apothecary ice chest build

Do you remember the small ice chest that I bought from Walmart last year?  I finally started building the faux apothecary box to carry it in.  I have 2 of the ice chests that I purchased so I am going to make 2 carrying boxes.  1 normal and 1 with a hidden drawer in the bottom.

I have some offcuts from my son’s shelves so I am cutting them down to size for the first box.

Eventually this is what the new cooler will look like.  The new one will be about 1 1/2 times as big as the first one that I made.

We had uniform fitting for Marching Band on Saturday and a family BBQ all day on Sunday so I was not able to get as much accomplished as I would have liked but I am recording video for this build and should hopefully have plans as well.
