Shop update #420 (11-26-25)

Marching Band finals were on Saturday so we left the house at 7:00 am and got back home around 1:30 am.  This made for a long day but my son’s band earned 2nd place in the parade competition and 6th place in the field competition.  We are very proud of him and all of his accomplishments in the band program.

Now that Marching Band season is over, I should have more time to dedicate to being out in the shop.

For now, my son and I sanded all of the boards for his new shelves.  We plan on priming them on the Friday after Thanksgiving and giving them a couple of coats of black on Saturday and Sunday.

After we got done sanding, I did some more painting on the Dalek piece and started a new laser engraved picture of The Silence.  Next weekend I plan on starting on some Christmas presents out in the shop.
