Shop update #427 (1-14-26)
My Mother In Law is moving back to California so we spent the afternoon assembling a bunch of flat pack furniture for her new apartment.
I then went home and took apart my clothes dryer because it was making a very loud rubbing sound. The problem ended up being that the wheel on the idler pulley seized up. Since I had it apart, I ordered a whole new maintenance kit and replaced all of the drum roller wheels, the belt, and the idler pulley. It is now running again like normal.

On Sunday we went to my nephew’s basketball game

My wife and I decided to go out to lunch afterwards and while we were driving around the parking lot of a new shopping center, a guy in a Tesla backed up really fast and hit us as we were going by. It is Tuesday night as I write this and I dropped the car off at the repair shop this afternoon. Here is to hoping that they don’t total it.

In the middle of all of this, I prepped some more canvases for the Dr Who art show that I entered and we put a couple of coats of clear on the face frame pieces for my son’s shelf unit.
