Shop update #412 (10-1-25)

It was another busy weekend.

On Saturday, we had an Eagle Scout Project working on the parking lot for the location where we have our meetings.  We did quite a bit of landscaping, sanded down and repainted the bollards, filled in a large crack in the lot, and repainted the parking lines.  I was in charge of making the stencils for the parking lines.

On Sunday, I had 8 Boy Scouts and 2 leaders over to my house to work on a different Eagle Scout Project.  This one is to make lost and found carts for a local elementary school.  We made the top and bottom trays for the carts on this occasion.  Next weekend we will be assembling and painting them at the actual school.

Once the scouts left on Sunday, I sanded down the epoxy on the sample cutting boards and then gave them a coat of butcher block oil.
