Shop update #422 (12-10-25) We painted the shelf unit!

I bought this HVLP sprayer back in 2021 for around $70 for a project that I needed to paint.  (you can buy it on Amazon now for $27) I used it a couple of times and then packed it away in a tote.  It’s a decent sprayer, but not awesome.

We were getting ready to paint my son’s shelves and I remembered that I had it up in storage so I broke it out.  We sanded all the boards and then used it to give them a coat of primer.

We let them dry overnight, gave them a light sanding the next day and then gave them a coat of sem-gloss black.

They could use another coat of black paint but my son is getting excited to get them in his room and doesn’t want to take the time.  These are his shelves so I am letting him make the decision.

Were are going to start assembly this weekend and build out the face frames.
