Shop update #214 (12-1-21)

I finally finished the cabinet for my dutch ovens and all of my griddle cooking gear!

I didn’t get any progress pictures, but I gave the carcass of the cabinet 3 more coats of gloss white paint on all of the faces that you can easily see.

I picked up a 1″ thick project panel board from Lowes and cut it down to size to fit the top of the cabinet.

I then stained it my typical Golden Oak.

Once the stain dried I gave it one coat of Amber shellac on the bottom and 3 coats on top.

I let the shellac cure overnight and then attached it to the top of the cabinet, removed the old blue tote, installed the cabinet, and filled it up with stuff.
