Shop update #215 (12-8-21)

My wife has been bugging me to get rid of all the “useless” projects that have been crowding up our back patio.

I took apart the 4 ft picnic table, park bench with a reclined seat ver 3, and the storm trooper adirondack chair and broke them down into individual pieces.

I used those pieces to build a frame for a new bar surround for my 27″ Blue Rhino Razor griddle.

Once the frame was built, I mounted 2 – 6ft 2×8’s as a bar top and with a 6ft 2×4 as a lip guard at the back.

I then clad the entire thing with cedar fence pickets.

I plan on staining and clear coating the bar top this weekend.  I also want to sand the rest of the rough edges and apply a clear coat to all of the fence pickets as well.
