Shop update #347 (7-3-24) Apothecary Ice Chest Part 3

I had 3 different Boy Scout events and a surprise birthday party in Long Beach this weekend but I still managed to finish up the Apothecary Ice Chest.

I have never used spray foam before but decided to try it out on this box to hold in the ice chest and give it some extra insulation.  I know that it expands quite a bit so I only used a little bit to fill in the gaps.  It turns out that a little bit sill goes a long way.  I used an expandable hobby knife and a plastic razor blade to remove the excess foam and clean up the sides.

I found a handle that I really like on Amazon and installed it on the lid.  I am also adding a picture of the hinges as I forgot to show them in the last post.  I plan on taking it to a pool party on the 4th of July and see what everyone thinks of it.
