Shop update #446 (5-27-26)
It was Memorial Day weekend and between an end of year HS Band Banquet and 3 different BBQ house parties, I was barely home at all. No woodworking was accomplished during this time.
Having said that, I had my two 3D printers pretty much running all weekend to make the Titan3D Fighter model that I downloaded for free off of their website.
It is made up of 8 large pieces that took between 9 and 10 hours each to 3D print.

All of the pieces have slots in them that you insert tabs into for alignment purposes and are then bolted together with 3D printed bolts.

As with any big print job, I had a couple of prints that failed spectacularly.

But, in the end, everything came together pretty well. The entire ship is 18″ x 18″ x 9″ and looks pretty good. This one is a free download and I am thinking of purchasing the 3D model for their version of the Millenium Falcon.
