Shop update #458 (8-19-26)

I finished the Apothecary Ice Chest this past weekend!

I started by cutting a template to properly space the drawer pulls.  The first template that I cut out had the pull in the middle.  I didn’t like how it looked so I moved it up a few mm.

Once the pulls were installed, I added the handle to the top.

I had some thin styrofoam that I saved from some flat pack furniture so I cut it up and installed in the interior of the case.  I tested out some spray adhesive on a piece of scrap and it melted it.

I’m very happy with the results.  Look for a video and full plans coming soon!

A friend of mine picked up some small boxes off of Amazon and asked me to laser engrave them for a fishing tournament that his company is hosting.  They plan to put gift cards in the boxes with some other small prizes.
