Shop update #460 (9-2-26)

I’m working on an idea for some mini jack o lantern boxes.  I’m also filming a video for it and making plans to sell.

I bought an $8.00 coping saw to use in the video.  I have now discovered that using a coping saw sucks.

I would probably like the coping saw more if I didn’t have a CNC router.

I started using my bandsaw to make some of the cuts for the wood for the boxes and it made a loud bang sound and the blade stopped moving.  Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the drive belt broke.  I have ordered a 2 pack from Amazon and they should hopefully be here soon.

One of my customers gave me some small boxes to engrave a couple of years ao and I mangled a couple of them so I kept the small hinges and closures for them and finally got a project to use them on.

I am hoping to have the video published by this weekend.
