Shop update #466 (10-14-26) small machinist toolbox

We had our Fall Court of Honor for my son’s Boy Scout Troop this weekend.  As part of the celebration we hold a raffle to help raise money to cover the costs for the event.  I made a small machinist toolbox out of 1/2″ plywood to donate to the raffle.  It is 12″ wide by 8″ deep by 6″ tall.  It is stained with a gunstock stain and then was given 3 coats of amber shellac.  I made a couple of minor mistakes but was really happy with how it came out.  It received the second highest number of raffle tickets for any of the prizes and the winner was really happy to get it.
