Shop update #359 (9-25-24)

We started building the drawers for my son’s project this weekend.  One of his friends came over and helped him to build a few drawers that I had pre-cut out of 1/4″ plywood on the laser.

The Fall Court of Honor for my Sons’ Boy Scout Troop is coming up and each family was asked to team up with another family to assemble gift baskets to donate to a raffle.  I decided to make my own basket and gifts.  I literally made a crate and engraved the Scout Law on one side and the Scout Oath on the other side.  I also glued a Troop Badge to one side and an FWW badge on the other side.

I made a shadow box of 2 people camping to include in the crate.

Last, but not least I made 3 boxes to include in the crate.  2 of them hold a single deck of playing cards each and the 3rd holds a wallet that I engraved our troop name and BSA logo on.  Unfortunately, I failed to take a picture of the wallet when it was finished.
