Project – Building a custom fit wood gift box without measuring

4 days before Christmas I decided to make a custom fit box for the present that I had bought for my family’s gift exchange.  The challenge that I made to myself was to build it without using a tape measure.  By shear chance it was picked and opened by the first person at the gift exchange.  By the time that we had reached person number 5 out of 14 it had already been stolen twice and was out of the running.  It is always a good feeling to know that your work is appreciated.
