Shop update #136 (6-3-20)

This weekend was all about painting and staining the Graduation Bridge.

We took it apart completely and sanded everything down with 120 grit sandpaper.

My son and I gave all the slats a coat of amber shellac and let them dry overnight.

The next day I gave them 3 coats of Spar Urethane.

The arch of the bridge and the uprights for the rails received 3 coats of exterior latex paint.  I will be rebuilding it this weeks once all the finish and paint cures.

I also CNC’ed some more words for my sister’s laundry room.
