Shop update #24 (4-11-18)

As always, it was another busy weekend for me.  Saturday morning the whole family went on a 3 mile hike up to Etiwanda Falls with my younger son’s Cub Scout Pack.  It was a lot of fun but also a lot of work hiking that trail and keeping an eye on 20+ Cub Scouts.  We got back to the house for a few hours and then I headed out to Huntington Beach to shoot photography for a co-workers wedding at the Newland Barn.  It is a nice venue and things went pretty well.

On Sunday I worked some more on the snake cage stand.  I took it all apart and sanded it down to 120 and gave it a good coat of stain.  I also finished up fixing the Tomahawk Targets and my older son and I made our cars for the Pinewood Derby coming up in a couple of weeks.
