Shop update #273 (1-25-23)

One of my coworkers is moving on to another company so I made him a going away gift to remember me by.

I came up with a box design and laser etched some pattern on 1/8″ plywood for the first step.

Once the patterns were etched, I then cut out the actual box pieces themselves.

I bonded all the pieces together using CA glue.

I gave the whole box a few coats of amber shellac for a finish.

My friend was very happy with the finished box.
