Shop update #28 (5-9-18)
I posted my May the 4th be With You video late on Thursday night and got a lot of positive feedback from it.
On Saturday morning I delivered the snake cage stand to my friend’s house who lives about 45 mins away. I stopped by Home Depot on the way home and picked up a 1x12x8 and a 1x12x6 to make 9 Wood Badge signs for one of my son’s Cub Scout leaders. Once I got them home I was able to trim them down into 10 usable 11.25 x 11.25 blanks for the signs. We went a couple blocks down for a neighborhood CInco de Mayo block party for the rest of the day and then we went to Knott’s Berry Farm on Sunday so not much woodworking got done.
I plan on cutting the Wood Badge signs on the CNC this week after work. The plan is to route the edges and paint them on Saturday and then final sanding and clear coat on Sunday.
