Shop update #282 (3-29-23)

I finished CNC carving the other 7 AOL plaques during the week nights after I got home from work.  Each one took about an hour to carve and I did 14 in all.  Using my router table, I gave them all a slight chamfer on the top edge.

Once they all got a chamfer, I lightly sanded them and gave them a coat of flat black spray paint.

I let that dry for a couple of days and then sanded off the paint from the fronts and back of all plaques.  Each one took 10 to 15 minutes of sanding.

The next steps will be to laser etch a BSA logo and a Webelos logo onto each and then give them a good coat of medium walnut danish oil.
