Shop update #319 (12-13-23)

On Saturday I picked up 3 – 8ft 2×6’s and another sheet of 1/2″ OSB to build some more shelves along the ceiling.

I started by cutting each 2×6 into 3 – 1.5″ x 1.5″ strips.

I then cut the OSB into the proper size.

One strip gets screwed to the wall.

1 gets screwed to the ceiling.

2×4’s get attached to the strip in the ceiling and then the last strip gets attached to the 2×4’s.

The OSB then gets put in as the shelf and screwed into the bottom strips.

I also built a custom jig for the walnut business card cases and laser engraved a couple dozen for a customer.
