Shop update #328 (2-21-24)

I had a very productive weekend.

I had a master plan of purchasing a new tablesaw and dedicated dust collector so during the Halloween season last year, I picked up an indoor/outdoor remote control plug from Home Depot.  I finally got it installed and it works like a champ!  I have the remote attached to the side of the tablesaw using a really strong magnet.

I also glued up a fence, installed the runners, and finished building my first tablesaw sled.  It works pretty good and I learned a bunch building it.

I also built a 2′ x 4′ outfeed/work table for the tablesaw as well.  I made it out of left OSB from building the overhead shelves and 2×4’s that I had from dismantling my sons’ old loft beds that I built 5 or 6 years ago.  I recorded video of the table build and failed to take very many pictures.
