Shop update #332 (3-20-24)

I was able to get the AOL plaques for Pack 803 finished up this weekend.
I sanded each one with 60 grit sandpaper to get the black paint off and then sanded them with 120 to smooth out the scratches left from the 60.

I then set up the laser and engraved the WEBELOS logo on the left side of each plaque.

The next step was to engrave the Boy Scout logo on the right side by rotating them 180° and engraving it upside down.

I then sanded the tops and bottoms with 220 grit sandpaper to get them ready for some Light Walnut Danish Oil.

I gave them a good coat of the danish oil and then let them dry for 2 days.

The last step was to use my story stick and install some sawtooth hangers.

The Cub Scout leader will pick them up tonight for their bridging ceremony on Saturday.
